Major General Al-Harasis Receives Commander of U.S. Central Command Land Forces

Al-Taj News – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Majdi Al-Harasis received, Wednesday, Commander of U.S. Central Command Land Forces Lieutenant General Kevin Leahy and the accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed ways to develop military cooperation and coordination between the two armies, in addition to expanding the existing partnership between the two sides in military fields, in a manner that enhances joint efforts in supporting security and stability.

For his part, Lieutenant General Leahy expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Jordanian Armed Forces in consolidating security and stability at the regional and international levels.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the U.S. Defense Attaché in Amman.
